Cave of Wonder

Hello lovelies. I'm Kenny and I'm a lover of words, written and read, spoken and sung.

Slammerkin - Emma Donoghue I hate endings like this. That is all.(read for school)
The Redemption: Legacy of the King's Pirates, Book One (Barbour Value Fiction) - M. L. Tyndall First read: October 24-26 2010
Burn - Ted Dekker, Erin Healy HOLY WRITING, BATMAN. I should write a real review for this but my head is too busy spinning, my heart too sore. It's such an emotional roller coaster of a book. It's got a little of everything good: action, romance, suspense...you name it. Another brilliant tale by Ted Dekker and Erin Healy.
The Fault in Our Stars - John Green I may have to actually review this later.
Such a Rush - Jennifer Echols Jennifer Echols just keeps getting better and better. Each one of her books is nearly impossible to put down and the characters are so real. This is the best one yet. (Though I still have a soft spot for Love Story.)

Drought

Drought - Pam Bachorz Actual rating: 3.5
Uncommon Criminals - Ally Carter I love these books. They are pure fun to read.
A Tale of Two Cities - Charles Dickens This was torture. Probably because I read it for school.Great characters though. (Most of them...I dunno. Lorry, Pross, Sydney, Darnay, Lucie, Doctor Manette...those guys were good. Might'a missed one or two.)
Magic Study - Maria V. Snyder I almost didn't read this one merely because of other people's opinions. I should know by now that I like things others don't but I apparently still need some time to get it through my mind. I still very much enjoyed the sequel to "Poison Study" and I devoured "Fire Study" today also. It feels good to be done the series.
Outside In - Maria V. Snyder My review is in the tags, really.

Academy 7

Academy 7 - Anne Osterlund And the three stars means: I LIKED IT BUT WILL NOT FRET OVER A SEQUEL.Not "it was alright and I kind of liked it...".
Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys - Kate Brian Ms Brian wrote a fun story with a lot of drama and some really interesting bits...but at the end I found myself disappointed by her lack of problem resolving. She skips the hard part and goes straight from the conflict to after the resolution without explaining it. Frustrating, that. That is one of the reasons the book does not get 4 stars from me.

Shades of Grey: A Novel

Shades of Grey: A Novel - Jasper Fforde My English teacher says this book is fantastic (and he is a huge book snob), so I look forward to reading it!
Aurelia - Anne Osterlund I really enjoyed this. In fact, I read it in just a few hours today.
Clockwork Prince - Cassandra Clare Frigging book. I don't want to wait a year for the next one.I am so displeased with this story at the moment.

Major Crush (Romantic Comedies (Mass Market))

Major Crush (Romantic Comedies (Mass Market)) - Jennifer Echols A cute little story.Quick and simple.Satisfying.
